Assets

Assets are the collection of all work resources within an organisation. They are divided into the following categories:

Tools

Tools: these are individual assets or tools that are deployed as needed, for example during maintenance work. Examples include ladders, pressure washers and hand tools.

Devices

Devices: these are individual assets or products that are deployed permanently, such as fixed installations or machines. Parts of devices or installations can be managed separately and linked to a parent device in a tree structure.

Articles

Articles: these are goods or services that are created or consumed in production processes. Examples are batteries, lubricating oil, water, or salt for refilling.

Maintenance and warranty dates

For every device (asset) you can display important dates:

• Last maintenance: this is derived dynamically from the linked workflows. Per asset type you link a job type/workflow (e.g. using a "maintenance" label), so that the last execution date is taken over automatically. This field only appears when a workflow is linked.
• Installation date of the device.
• Warranty expiry date.

This way you no longer have to keep track of these dates manually, and you can see the maintenance history per asset at a glance.
