# User guide

# Getting started

# Step 1: Create an account or log in

If you already have an account, you can log in and continue to step 2.

If you do not have an account yet, you will be invited by an organisation and will receive an e-mail with instructions, a user name and a password. Alternatively you can register yourself through your organisation.eyeondata.eu and request a profile using your e-mail address. Once your account has been created, you can confirm it by e-mail and then explore the platform.

On your first login we recommend changing your password immediately for maximum security.

# Step 2: Home screen

When you connect to Eye on Data you arrive at the home screen, where you can find the following:

  • dashboards: list and map view of the dashboards in your organisation, with a search function.
  • notifications: info and alarm notifications.
  • task list: if applicable, tasks that have been assigned to you or to one of the teams you are a member of.

# Step 3: Access to data

Click one of the available dashboards for access to an overview of the collected data, or possibly the option to control equipment.

# Step 4: Set notifications

Once logged in, click your user name to adjust your details as required and to set notifications.

# How it works

  1. Add measurement types
  2. Create a job type (list of measurement types)
  3. Create and plan tasks based on a workflow
  4. Collect answers
    • From employees (maintenance report, survey)
    • From systems and devices
  5. Real-time dashboards and alarms
  6. Reporting
    • Process the report
    • Share the report
  7. Follow-up and new actions
    • New tasks

# User interface

# Portal

The portal contains a few major components; depending on your user role you will have access to one or more of them:

  • The action bar at the top allows you to filter by content and time, to export and import data, and to access your user settings and the help.
  • The navigation menu on the left allows you to navigate to the various modules of Eye on Data.
  • The events bar at the bottom allows you to look up active and historical events.
  • In the centre, different information is shown depending on the module you have chosen.

# Mobile application

The mobile application focuses on looking up and completing tasks. On the home page you get a list of your tasks and the option to look up information.

More information about the mobile interface can be found here
